Andre 3000 Charged With Speeding

"I Can't Drive 55" is a Sammy Hagar song, but maybe Outkast's Andre 3000 should consider covering it and changing the lyrics slightly.
Andre 3000 (real name Andre Benjamin) was arrested on the weekend in Georgia and charged with driving 109 miles (175 kilometres) per hour in a 65-mile (105 kilometre) per hour zone on Interstate 75.
Andre 3000 was freed on a $1,200 property bond and will appear in court on April 29. The rapper told police he'd been speeding in his Porsche Carrera because he missed an exit and turned around, according to The Associated Press.
Perhaps he was unaware that the exit would still be there, even if he travelled back towards it at the speed limit.
"Travelling that fast along 75, you're passing people as if they're standing still," Henry County Police Captain Jason Bolton told Atlanta's WSB-TV. "It's an accident waiting to happen."
Andre 3000 is working on a solo album that should be out sometime this year, according to MTV UK News. Outkast are also apparently planning to release a new record in the near future. Their last release was 2006's Idlewild, which featured songs from their musical movie of the same name.
