Feist Producer Mocky Readies Album

Feist, Peaches, Gonzales and Jamie Lidell collaborator Mocky will release a new album titled Saskamodie on April 7 through Crammed Discs.
The album was recorded by producer Renaud Letang (Feist, Gonzales) in Paris, France. It takes its name from a song Mocky (real name Dominic Giancarlo Salole) wrote when he was seven years old. Mocky plays drums, bass, keyboards, piano, guitar, percussion, bells, recorder, whistle and organ on the disc, which features guest appearances from Taylor Savvy, Gonzales, Lidell and Feist.
You can hear three songs from Saskamodie on Mocky's MySpace page.
An entry posted on Feist's website on Sunday quotes the Juno Award-winning singer/songwriter as saying, "I would spoon this album if I could."
Mocky co-produced Feist's The Reminder and co-wrote "So Sorry" from the album. He also co-wrote songs on Lidell's Jim and Multiply.
Mocky released this Mockumentary video companion to the forthcoming album, which features appearances from Lidell, Gonzales, Feist and Peaches:
