Wolfmother Return With New Downloadable Song

Wolfmother singer/guitarist Andrew Stockdale has made a new song titled "Back Round" available for free download from the group's website, but a donation to the Red Cross Bushfire Appeal is welcomed in exchange for checking out the track.

Stockdale vowed to keep releasing new music under the Wolfmother name after bassist/keyboardist Chris Ross and drummer Myles Heskett quit the heavy psychedelic rock band last summer.

"Back Round" debuted on Friday at the MTV Australia Music Awards in Sydney.

The new-look Wolfmother feature Stockdale, guitarist Aidan Nemeth, bassist/keyboardist Ian Peres and drummer Dave Atkins. They've been working on an album in Los Angeles with producer Alan Moulder (My Bloody Valentine, Smashing Pumpkins) that's expected to be released this summer.

Ross and Heskett have their own project named Palace Of Fire.
