Spiral Beach Get U.S. Release

Toronto's Spiral Beach will release their Ball full-length debut in the U.S. on May 5 through Tommy Boy.

Ball was released in Canada in the fall of 2007 and started picking up momentum last spring. Producer Michael Olson (who's toured with Arcade Fire and The Hidden Cameras) is working on the final mixes for Spiral Beach's second album, which will be released in Canada by Sparks Music in August.

Keyboardist/lead vocalist Maddy Wilde, drummer/vocalist Daniel Woodhead, guitarist/vocalist Airick Woodhead and bassist/vocalist Dorian Wolf will embark on a month-long Canadian tour next week that will end a week before the U.S. version of Ball hits stores.
