Sunset Rubdown Slay Dragons

Montreal's Sunset Rubdown will release their third album, Dragonslayer, via Jagjaguwar on June 23.

Wolf Parade's Spencer Krug, drummer/guitarist/keyboardist Jordan Robson-Cramer, guitarist/bassist Michael Doerksen and keyboardist/percussionist/vocalist Camilla Wynne Ingr will be joined on disc for the first time by a new member, bassist/drummer Mark Nicol. They wrote the follow-up to 2007's Random Spirit Lover over the course of two years and committed it to tape last fall.

Sunset Rubdown will also release a seven-inch picture disc titled Sunset Rubdown Introducing Moonface next month via Aagoo Records. The record will feature "Coming To The Dawn" and "Insane Love Is Awakening."

While no North American dates have yet been announced, they're expected to follow these European shows:
