Rock On The Range Comes To Winnipeg

Billy Talent will headline the inaugural Rock On The Range Canada festival at Winnipeg's Canad Inns Stadium on June 27.
The festival, which was first held in Columbus, Ohio in 2007, will make its Canadian debut with a lineup that also includes Rancid, Rise Against, Theory Of A Deadman, Thornley, Silverstein, Inward Eye, Die Mannequin, Blue October, Shinedown, Age Of Daze, Sick Of Sarah and Drive A. More acts will be announced shortly.
Tickets to the event go on sale on Saturday (March 28) at 11 a.m. through Ticketmaster. General admission field passes cost $69.50, but early bird passes will be available for $59.50 for a limited time. Grandstand tickets cost $59.50 and seats for two sections (one of which will be alcohol-free) will run you $29.50. VIP passes will also be on sale for $114.50. Slipknot and Motley Crue will headline the festival, which will also feature performances from Alice In Chains, Korn, Chevelle, Flyleaf, State Of Shock, Atreyu, Saliva, Static-X, Black Stone Cherry, Avenged Sevenfold, Buckcherry, Clutch, Saving Abel and Hoobastank, among others.
