Waking Eye Joins Weakerthans

The Waking Eyes recently wound up their Canadian tour with Arkells, but one member is already back out on the road.

Waking Eyes vocalist/guitarist Rusty Matyas is playing keys with fellow Manitobans The Weakerthans on their cross-Canada Rolling Tundra Review tour with the Constantines, which kicked off last night in St. John's and ends in Whitehorse in May.

The two bands will be accompanied by various openers throughout the tour, including The Waking Eyes on all three of the tour's Toronto dates.

The Waking Eyes will also play Toronto's Downsview Park on June 20 as part of this year's Edgefest.
