Mark Hoppus sure is excited about the upcoming Blink-182 summer tour.

The singer/bassist has been Tweeting away on his Twitter.

"While rehearsing today, I realized how excited I am to take the stage, walk up to the microphone, and say 'hi. we're blink-182,'" he wrote yesterday.

Hoppus, drummer Travis Barker and singer/guitarist Tom DeLonge first announced the Blink-182 reunion at this year's Grammy Awards.

Aside from "Summer 2009" plastered across the band's website and MySpace page, no details have yet been released about the upcoming tour. But Hoppus has taken to his Twitter to spill more tidbits of information lately about what's happening in the Blink camp.

On March 17, he wrote that he was heading to San Diego, Calif. for a "bigtime power blink meeting. Important stuff." A few hours later, he wrote: "Good blink meeting. Tour will be fun."

Then on March 18, Hoppus wrote: "Headed to the studio today to start working on some stuff for the tour. Which means making sure I remember all the songs."

He later uploaded a photo of a notepad that had a list of songs on it, which he adamantly stated wasn't the set list for the upcoming tour and insisted they were tracks he was planning on rehearsing. The list includes Blink-182 hits "Dammit," "All The Small Things," "What's My Age Again?" and "The Rock Show."

"Heading back into the studio now. More rehearsal today," he wrote today (Thursday). Barker also Tweeted that he would be in the studio today.

Hoppus has been Tweeting back and forth with Barker, who wrote that he'll head back to the hospital tomorrow for his final surgery after a tragic plane crash that killed four people last September.

"Less then 24 hrs till my surgery. Hopefully the last time i will be in the burn center besides visiting," Barker wrote earlier today on his Twitter account.
