Simple Plan Autograph Session In Montreal

You'll be able to contribute to a good cause if you ask for Simple Plan's autograph this evening (Friday).

Singer Pierre Bouvier, guitarists Jeff Stinco and Sebastien Lefebvre, bassist David Desrosiers and drummer Chuck Comeau will sign autographs at the Simons location in downtown Montreal at 6:30 p.m. in celebration of the retail debut of their Role Model Clothing line.

Voluntary donations will be collected at the signing for LEUCAN, an organization that works with children with cancer. Simple Plan will also perform at Quebec's Ski Bromont on Saturday to raise more funds for LEUCAN.

Simple Plan are involved with a number of charities through the Simple Plan Foundation, and Bouvier's brother Jay was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago.

Bouvier contributed to MC Lars' "It's Not Easy (Being Green)" from his recently released The Gigantic Robot Kills.

Simple Plan's self-titled LP is up for an album of the year Juno Award. The band have also been nominated for a best group Juno.
