Bicycles Breaking Up?

The Bicycles' appearance at CHARTattack's Canadian Music Week showcase this Friday at Toronto's Horseshoe Tavern could be the band's final performance.
The Toronto group are going on an "extended hiatus," and we all know what that means.
The Bicycles posted this MySpace blog entry on Sunday:
"hey there!
"little fyi: this friday's cmw show at the horseshoe will be the last bicycles show for a looooong time... and... maybe... forever (or maybe not forever. you never know).
"so if you really like us and you live in toronto - come on our and appreciate us before we're gone!"
The band's record label, Fuzzy Logic, later told CBC Radio 3 that The Bicycles are going on hiatus since the band members are all working on other things. Drummer Dana Snell is set to tour with Gentleman Reg, while keyboardist Andrew Scott is now a member of Sebastien Grainger & The Mountains.
The Bicycles released The Good, The Bad And The Cuddly in 2006. Their Oh No, It's Love sophomore album came out last year and kept the #1 spot on our national campus radio chart for six weeks. The Bicycles are singer/guitarist/keyboardist Matt Beckett, singer/guitarist/tambourinist Drew Smith, bassist/singer Randy Lee, trumpeter/guitarist/keyboardist/singer Scott and drummer/singer Snell.
