Metric To Fantasize Earlier

Metric have moved up the release of Fantasies and are streaming the entire album on their MySpace page.

The Toronto band's fourth full-length was originally slated to come out on April 14, but a downloadable version will be available exclusively through iTunes on March 31 and the CD will instead be in stores seven days later.

"Gimme Sympathy," the follow-up single to the hit "Help I'm Alive," will be serviced to radio and video outlets as early as next week.

Metric apparently have "something special" planned for Canada in mid-April in support of the follow-up to 2005’s Live It Out, but aren't disclosing any details yet.

Metric are part of the Edgefest lineup that will take over Toronto's Downsview Park on June 20.
