Coolio Nailed With Three Charges

Coolio has been hit with three charges after being arrested at Los Angeles International Airport on March 6.

The 45-year-old rapper (real name Artis Leon Ivey Jr.) was going through security when he allegedly grabbed the arm of a screener to try and prevent the person from searching through his bag. Crack cocaine and a pipe were allegedly found when it was checked.

Coolio was charged on Tuesday with one felony count of drug possession, one misdemeanor count of battery and one misdemeanor count of possessing drug paraphernalia. He faces up to three years in prison if found guilty. He's been released on $10,000 bail and is scheduled for an April 3 arraignment.

The hip-hop artist pulled out of two Australian concerts scheduled for this month following his arrest.
