No Coachella For Amy Winehouse

Amy Winehouse's assault charge last week will prevent her from performing at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio, Calif. on April 19.
Winehouse was charged for allegedly attacking a fan at a concert in London, England last September and The Associated Press reports that her spokesperson, Chris Goodman, says her "legal case would not be sorted out in time for her to make the music fest." Goodman wouldn't confirm whether Winehouse was denied a U.S. entry visa because of the court proceedings, which will resume on March 17.
Winehouse was scheduled to perform at the 2008 Grammy Awards but was refused a visa because of an outstanding drug charge. The decision was reversed, but it was too late and the singer acknowledged winning her five Grammys for Back To Black via satellite from London.
Winehouse recently spent two months in St. Lucia somewhat getting her life back together. Her next scheduled return to the stage will be on May 31 at London's O2 Shepherds Bush Empire as part of the Island 50 Festival, which celebrates the 50th anniversary of Island Records. Sly & Robbie, The Fratellis, Paul Weller, Keane, Tom Tom Club, Yusuf Islam, Ladyhawke and Toots & The Maytals are among the other artists slated to appear over the course of the six-night event.
Winehouse is apparently suffering from writer's block in putting together material for her third album, according to U.K. tabloid The Mirror, which quoted the 25-year-old as saying, "I don't know when I will have something. I'm not feeling creative.
"I start things but I don't finish them. I know when stuff is rubbish."
Speaking of rubbish, Winehouse is also apparently still keen on winning back her estranged ex-jailbird husband and teenage girl fancier, Blake Fielder-Civil.
"I'm going to win my Blake back — whatever it takes," Winehouse is quoted as telling The Mirror. "I still love him.
"I want him back. I still love him and I don't care what anybody else thinks. I don't feel pretty, but being married to Blake makes me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world."
Track marks: this year's hot new accessory.
