U2 have announced the first leg of their upcoming 360 Tour in support of their recently released 12th studio album, No Line On The Horizon.
The BlackBerry-presented tour kicks off in June and includes a Sept. 16 stop in Toronto. U2 are also expected to play in Vancouver, Atlanta, Charlottesville, Va., Dallas, Houston, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Norman, Okla., Phoenix, Tampa, Fla. and Washington, D.C. in September and October, but those dates haven't been announced. Glasvegas, Elbow, Snow Patrol, Kaiser Chiefs and the Black Eyed Peas will open various dates throughout the tour, and additional artists will be announced at a later date.
The tour will feature an unobstructed 360-degree stage designed by longtime U2 show director Willie Williams and architect Mark Fisher, who worked on the stage set-ups for U2's ZooTV, PopMart, Elevation and Vertigo tours. You can preview the stage design here.
Most tickets will be priced under $95, and general admission floor tickets will run you $55 each, while 10,000 tickets to each show will be available for $30. More information about the tour can be found on U2's website.
