It doesn't really look like Clap Your Hands Say Yeah are taking a break, since they debuted a new song called "Statues" on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday night.
You can download the song on the band's website as long as you provide them with your email address. They say they may work more on the song in the future.
Clap Your Hands Say Yeah had been working on their third album, the follow-up to 2007's Some Loud Thunder, when they decided to scrap their studio plans and take a break in January. The band then announced they weren't going to work together again anytime soon. That prompted break-up rumours, which were denied.
It's not known if Clap Your Hands Say Yeah will return or have returned to the studio to finish their scrapped sessions.
