TPC Drummer Does Comedy

Tokyo Police Club drummer Greg Alsop made his debut as a Toronto comedy show producer on Wednesday night despite being in Covington, Ky.

The first gig in what's supposed to be a monthly Alsop-produced comedy event took place at the Ossington Bar with routines by Chris Locke, Deb Robinson, Peter Stevens, Rebecca Kohler and host Sara Hennessey. Alsop recorded material that was played at the club, since he's currently touring the U.S. with Tokyo Police Club.

Alsop has also produced short films for Funtimeinternet.com and is looking for feedback.

"I'm good with constructive criticism," he wrote in a MySpace blog post on Wednesday.

Tokyo Police Club are touring in support of last year's Elephant Shell.
