Rumours have emerged that Rihanna and Chris Brown got married following their reconciliation last week.
The Star magazine reports Brown "apologized, begged for forgiveness and proposed to [Rihanna] on the spot" when the two were reunited at Diddy's Miami mansion on Saturday. The tabloid says the pair immediately called a minister to the mansion and were married.
"All [Rihanna's] ever wanted was to be with him forever," a source told Star. "Rihanna is looking for a husband-and-two-kids deal before she turns 25. She believes in fairy tales, and she wants to live hers with Chris.
"She was totally up front and confessed to him, 'I can't live without you.'"
Rihanna's publicist has refused to comment on the rumours, according to the World Entertainment News Network.
Brown is due in court today (Thursday) for a case in which he's accused of making criminal threats against a woman who's believed to be Rihanna. Brown and Rihanna are said to have gotten into an altercation in Brown's rented Lamborghini before last month's Grammy Awards, which reportedly left Rihanna battered, bruised and bloody. Brown could possibly face additional charges, including felony domestic battery.
Rihanna, who was previously co-operating with police in their investigation into Brown's behaviour, has now refused to file charges against him and says she won't testify against him in court, according to Britain's Daily Telegraph newspaper.
But the Los Angeles District Attorney may have evidence from Rihanna that could result in felony domestic battery charges being filed against Brown today.
Rihanna is said to have told police that Brown had been violent to her in the past, and his attacks were becoming increasingly violent. TMZ, which previously published a photo of Rihanna's face that it claimed was taken after the Feb. 7 incident, also says it has obtained additional photos taken the day after the attack that are apparently worse.
TMZ also reports that a Fox News affiliate station in Los Angeles has obtained the Los Angeles Police Department's detective notes from a search warrant. They apparently describe the incident in explicit detail.
Brown is said to have tried to force Rihanna out of the Lamborghini after she read a three-page text message on his phone from another woman, according to TMZ. He then apparently shoved her head against the passenger window and repeatedly punched her while driving, which left Rihanna's clothes splattered with blood and her mouth bloody.
Brown then allegedly told the singer: "I'm going to beat the fuck out of you when we get home. You wait and see."
This prompted Rihanna to call her assistant and ask for the police to be called.
"You just did the stupidest thing ever," Brown is said to have replied. "I'm going to kill you."
Brown is then said to have continued to punch Rihanna before biting her ears and fingers and putting her in a headlock, which almost left her unconscious.
E! Online reports that police took Rihanna's dress as evidence because it had blood on it. The Extra television show aired photos of Brown's rented Lamborghini, which "clearly show multiple blood stains and smears, scuff marks and a missing cigarette lighter."
"The stitching is saturated in blood," forensics expert Mary Pierson said.
"Rihanna's face was bruised and the corners of her mouth did show bleeding. So yes, there could have been blood from the mouth on the console [from] hitting or some kind of low impact blow."
Former Los Angeles District Attorney and County Court Judge Jeanine Pirro told Extra if the blood is Rihanna's, the photos could be used to convict Brown on battery charges.
"You've got it all there," Pirro said. "You've got this case beyond a reasonable doubt. Prosecute it."
We think it's safe to tell Rihanna that Brown isn't Prince Charming material.
UPDATE: Chris Brown has been charged with two felonies.
OK! Magazine reports Brown was formally charged by the L.A. District Attorney with assault by means likely to create great bodily injury and making criminal threats.
Brown will be arraigned at 3:30 p.m. PST today (Thursday). Brown could face up to nine years in prison if he's found guilty of making criminal threats.
