Note: Both ourselves and NME.com originally sourced this story from the Daily Star tabloid. But the link to the story has since disappeared and no longer exists, so please consider that when reading our story. Alien cover-up, perhaps?

Robbie Williams has reportedly been invited to go "UFO hunting" by a UFO research group near his new home in the English countryside.

The Swindon UFO Research group, based near Williams' 71-acre estate in Compton Bassett, England, has invited him on a UFO hunt, as has the Wiltshire Phenomena Research group. People.co.uk reports that Williams has joined the former group, which may want to take advantage of Williams' tattoos, since they can reportedly summon aliens.

"He is keen to get involved with the local community and has become very, very interested in outer space," a source told the website.

This won't be the first time Williams has gone looking for aliens. He rented Jet Skis last year so he could spot USOs (unidentified submerged objects) off the shores of Malibu, Calif.

Williams moved back to England earlier this year and settled in Compton Bassett, an area that reportedly has "mystical energy routes believed to attract UFOs" and is near a crop circle investigation centre.

He convinced actress girlfriend Ayda Field to relocate with him from Los Angeles, but she's apparently regretting the decision.

"Ayda is not happy here," a source told The News Of The World. "Rob painted her a very romantic picture of life in the U.K. to convince her to come.

"She wants to go back to L.A. and has asked him to come wih her. And if Robbie says no, then she's prepared to call time on the relationship."

Field previously dumped Williams because the singer would reportedly rather research UFOs on the internet than spend time with her. Williams became reclusive, but the two got back together after he was sighted wearing a gorilla suit in L.A.

An alien "expert" said last year he thought Williams' obsession made him a prime target for abduction. We think aliens may already have his brain.

Well this is absolute rubbish, do your reporters not do any sort of research?

I am the founder of the above mentioned Wiltshire Phenomena Research group, and we have NEVER asked Robbie Williams to join our group, neither have the Swindon UFO Research team.

This article is purely born from lazy research, quite humorous really.
