Kings Of Leon = Magicians?

Kings Of Leon have been learning magic tricks from British magician Sav so they can impress girls on tour.

According to Scotland's Daily Record newspaper, Kings Of Leon met Sav at an exclusive London, England club, where Sav performed some card tricks for them.

"Caleb [Followill, vocals/guitars] got really engrossed and at one point screamed...

"'Dude, you are going straight to hell for doing shit like that. It's definitely not normal!'" Sav wrote on his blog in September.

"I ended up having to teach them some simple card and bar tricks to impress the girls they meet on tour. (like they really need it!!)"

Kings Of Leon started out as a duo, including Caleb and Nathan Followill. The pair recently told the Daily Record they had to kidnap their cousin, Matthew Followill, to convince him to join the band. They later had to convince their label to let Matthew Followill and their brother, Jared Followill, join the band.

But Matthew Followill had only taken a few guitar lessons and Jared Followill had never even played a bass. So the quartet locked themselves in a basement for a month to hone their chops.

"We kidnapped our cousin from Mississippi, told his mom he was coming for a week and just never let him go home," Nathan Followill told the newspaper.

"My mom would bring us food. At the end of the month, the label people came and we had the songs 'Molly's Chambers,' 'California Waiting,' 'Wicker Chair' and 'Holy Roller Novocaine.'"
