Sam Roberts, The Stills, Serena Ryder, Divine Brown and Crystal Shawanda have been added to the list of performers for CTV's Juno Awards broadcast from Vancouver's General Motors Place at 9 p.m. EST on March 29.
The five Juno nominees add diversity to the previously announced group of performers — Sarah McLachlan, Nickelback, City And Colour and Simple Plan — and could attract a good cross-section of television viewers to the show. More performers and award presenters will be announced at a later date.
Russell Peters will host the show for the second straight year after he won a 2008 Gemini Award for his work the first time around, but Nardwuar The Human Serviette is still available to fill in should Peters become ill or something.
