Axl Rose: Slash Is "A Cancer"

Axl Rose has thrown many jabs and barbs at former Guns N' Roses guitarist Slash in recent years, but now he's gone so far as to call him "a cancer."
Rose hit out at Slash when he and friend/road manager Del James were interviewed by Spinner.com. Rose discussed last year's Chinese Democracy and, when asked about a Guns N' Roses reunion featuring original band members, Rose's response was unsurprisingly negative.
"I suppose Duff [McKagan, former GN'R bassist] could play guitar on something somewhere, but there's zero possibility of me having anything to do with Slash," Rose said.
"In a nutshell, personally I consider him a cancer and better removed, avoided — and the less anyone heard of him and his supporters, the better."
Rose said Slash has been "a whore for the limelight" and that he hasn't had a passion for his guitar in a long time. He also said he has no plans to reunite with original drummer Steven Adler. The former GN'R tubthumper's well-publicized struggles with drug addiction mean "one gig or even a couple songs could mean years of behind-the-scenes legal aftermath," Rose said.
Adler will appear in an upcoming movie called Dahmer Vs. Gacy about serial killers John Wayne Gacy and Jeffrey Dahmer. Gacy had a habit of killing and raping boys, while Dahmer chopped up his victims and ate them. We're pretty sure serial killers are the last thing Adler should be associated with at this point.
