Modest Mouse may release a new EP within the next few months.
Frontman Isaac Brock said last year that the disc would likely be called
Nobody's Next And You're First. But a fan asked bassist Eric Judy about the release a few days ago, and he said the band had already recorded it and would release it within the next six months, according to Tinymixtapes.com. That fan later said he was "so deaf" after the show that he couldn't hear what Judy was saying.
No release date or title has been confirmed, but the rumoured EP could include nine tracks, including "The Whale Song," "Satellite Skin," "Autumn Beds," "I've Got It All (Most)" and "King Rat."
Modest Mouse are in the middle of a
North American tour without guitarist and former Smiths member Johnny Marr, who's touring with his other band, The Cribs.
