New Wilco Album, Tour, Book, DVD

Spring will be a good time to be a Wilco fan.
We've already informed you that the Chicago band will release their Ashes Of American Flags DVD in April. But now we can tell you that a tour will start in April, a Wilco book will be published in May and a new album will arrive in June.
The new record doesn't yet have a title, release date or track list, but it's expected to include "Wilco, The Song" (which the band played on The Colbert Report last year), "Deeper Down," "My Country Has Disappeared," "Sunny Feeling" and "One Wing," according to Rollingstone.com.
Most of the album's basic tracks were recorded in January in Neil Finn's Auckland, New Zealand studio after singer/guitarist Jeff Tweedy, bassist John Stirratt, multi-instrumentalist Pat Sansone and drummer Glenn Kotche went to the land of the kiwi in December to contribute to a Finn album that will raise money for Oxfam International.
Producer/engineer/mixer Jim Scott — who mixed Wilco's Summerteeth, Sky Blue Sky and Being There albums — was at the production controls. Guitarist Nels Cline and keyboardist Mikael Jorgensen added their parts later at Wilco's Chicago studio, The Loft.
Wilco: The Essential Interviews was compiled and edited by American music writer John Luerssen. The 284-page book's interviews start in 1995, when Wilco released their A.M. debut, and carry forward to last year's Australian tour. It will be published by Rock Reader Books/Lulu on May 12, but is available for advance purchase and immediate delivery here.
Tweedy will play these solo shows:
March 26 Burlington, VT @ Higher Ground w/Pronto
March 27 Northampton, MA @ Calvin Theatre w/Pronto
March 28 Beacon, NY @ Beacon High Auditorium
