Get Your Dance On With Beyonce

Beyonce wants you to shoot your own "Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)" video and send it to her as part of a contest.

Fans must shoot their own versions of the video and "adhere precisely to the iconic 'Single Ladies' dance routine performed by Beyonce and her two dancers in the original clip — no new choreography should be added." We guess that means you can't purposely dislocate your hip while you're dancing and will just have to make it look like you're going to instead.

The grand prize winner will receive $2,500 U.S. (about $3,100 Canadian) and their video will be shown throughout Beyonce's upcoming world tour. If you're interested, you have to save your video in QuickTime or AVI format in either high or standard definition on a DVD-ROM, and send it to this address before March 6:

I know at least one person (who I can't name on pain of death) who's done this in a highly ironic style with mumus, and I think she should enter this contest immediately.
