My Chemical Romance drummer Bob Bryar wants to have a wall comprised only of Red Bull cans by the time the band are done recording their next album.
"we are taking donations for it," Bryar wrote in a blog entry on My Chemical Romance's website on Tuesday. "please collect every red bull can that you can find and ship to the following address.
"i will post pictures along with the progress. thank you!"
I'm not sure why Bryar needs help with his collection, considering his passion for Red Bull Cola, which was described in a November blog post:
"i just drank 3 in a row. have you seen red bull COLA before? its brand new. i love it. its hammertime. cant touch this."
Perhaps Bryar is worried that his My Chemical Romance bandmates won't be able to keep up with his tempo if he drinks too much Red Bull in the studio. Or maybe MCR singer Gerard Way and his ego are concerned that Bryar guzzling lots of the energy drink could earn him a Red Bull endorsement deal, which might take some of the focus away from Way's non-band-related projects.
If you want to contribute to Bryar's cause, send your cans to:
