Converse shoes have long been favourites with musicians, and now the company is set to release its British Rock Series line that will pay tribute to Pink Floyd, Ozzy Osbourne and The Who.
Three types of Pink Floyd shoes — featuring artwork from 1972's The Dark Side Of The Moon, 1975's Wish You Were Here and 1977's Animals — will be available. The Dark Side Of The Moon shoes will be sold in Converse's Chuck Taylor All Star high tops and Jack Purcell low tops, while the Wish You Were Here and Animals versions will only be available as Chuck Taylor high tops. They'll run you $70 to $80.
Osbourne designed a set of Chuck Taylor high tops with an Ozzy logo and drawings representing the devil and an angel on them. They'll cost $80.
Two versions of Who Converse Chuck Taylor high tops will also be available in March. The first is emblazoned with the Union Jack and has The Who logo on its tongue. The second is blue, orange and white and features an image of singer/guitarist Pete Townshend jumping. The former will cost $90, while the latter is $80.
