Madonna's "Material Girl" Dress Auction

You could own some material that Madonna once wore when the dress she sported in the "Material Girl" video is auctioned in March or April.

The iconic pink dress, which Madge donned in the 1985 clip, is being auctioned by Marquee Capital as part of its Simply Madonna: Materials Of The Girl exhibition. The dress will be one of the items on display at the event, which runs until March 22 at London, England's Old Truman Brewery.

Other items that Madonna has worn throughout her career will be shown, including: the black and gold tassel bustier from the "Open Your Heart" video; the baseball uniform from the 1992 film, A League Of Their Own; the inaugural gown and wedding dress from the 1996 movie, Evita; and the outfits from the "American Pie" and "Music" videos.

The "Material Girl" video was a parody of the scene in 1953's Gentlemen Prefer Blondes in which Marilyn Monroe sings "Diamonds Are A Girl's Best Friend." You can see it below:
