Borland Defends Limp Bizkit Reunion Decision

Wes Borland has probably (hopefully?) been pelted with various objects on stage over the years, but the guitarist now has egg on his face after reneging on his vow not to rejoin Limp Bizkit.
There's been bad blood between Borland and Bizkit frontman Fred Durst for several years, and Borland said earlier this month he preferred the creative freedom he had with his band Black Light Burns over the situation he'd be faced with in his previous group. But Borland and Durst apparently agreed to bury the hatchet and they announced last week they'd tour and record a new album together.
Borland has been criticized by fans for going back on his earlier statement and was using his Twitter page to defend his decision while on the road in a van playing (apparently underpromoted, according to a Feb. 15 tweet) Black Light Burns gigs.
"So I just log into the LB site and everybody is talking shit about me," Borland wrote on Monday. "That's alright. Think what you want, but we are back, all 5 of us..
"And we're gonna kill it, so start making some progress towards getting over it. And Fred and I are all good again. Period."
Black Light Burns finished their tour on Wednesday in Colorado Springs, Colo., and Limp Bizkit rehearsals are expected to start shortly.
"LB is a great band, if you think BLB sucks, you have bad taste," the obviously unbiased Borland wrote earlier this week.
Meanwhile, Durst has been "in OC rehearsing with Camp Freddy," according to his Twitter page. He says that Dave Navaro (his spelling mistake, not ours) and Mark McGrath "say hello."
Durst has also been defending Mac computers, promoting his movie (The Education Of Charlie Banks) and convincing Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones to join Twitter while having breakfast.
That's all the Limp Bizkit news you should want to know to get you through the weekend.
