Dog Day Tour, Prep New Releases

Dog Day will play some shows in Quebec and Ontario in March.

According to a Facebook event page, the Halifax quartet's dates will "pave the way" to working on a new seven-inch single with former Eric's Trip vocalist/guitarist Rick White.

Dog Day also plan to release the as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2007's Night Group in April.

"We're presently tearing our hair out, tracking the last few songs of the new album," singer/guitarist Seth Smith wrote on the band's website in October.

"We're trying some new tricks this time and it's working out pretty great."
