Peaches turned 40 in November, but, judging by the title of her forthcoming album, the milestone birthday hasn't mellowed the sex-obsessed singer.
Peaches (real name Merrill Nisker) will follow 2000's The Teaches Of Peaches, 2003's Fatherfucker and 2006's Impeach My Bush with I Feel Cream on May 5. The XL Recordings release was produced by Peaches along with members of Simian Mobile Disco, Digitalism, Soulwax and Drums Of Death. A double A-side single featuring "Talk To Me" and "More" will precede the album by a week.
A 35-minute mixtape featuring Drums Of Death remixes of the title track, "Lose You" and "Billionaire" from I Feel Cream can be downloaded from a link on a new blog post on Peaches' MySpace page.
Peaches has no performances scheduled in advance of I Feel Cream's release. The provocative electro-rock artist was born in Toronto but has lived in Berlin for several years.
Here are a dozen songs to make you get all creamy:
"Serpentine"
"Talk To Me"
"Lose You"
"More"
"Billionaire"
"I Feel Cream"
"Trick Or Treat"
"Show Stopper"
"Mommy Complex"
"Mud"
"Relax"
"Take You Out"
