Ministry will release a final live album titled Adios... Putas Madres on March 31 through lead singer Al Jourgensen’s 13th Planet Records label.
"We had a blast on the final tour and this CD really captures the heart of Ministry live," Jourgensen says.
The 13-track album features recordings of relatively recent material from the 75-city C U LaTour 2008 which wrapped up last July in Dublin, Ireland. It features performances recorded in Serbia, Poland, the U.S., Germany, the Czech Republic and Slovakia that were mixed last fall by Jourgensen and engineers Michihiro Tanikawa and John Bilberry at 13th Planet Studios.
The lineup for the tour featured Jourgensen and guitarists Tommy Victor (Prong) and Sin Quirin (Revolting Cocks), keyboardist John Bechdel (Prong, False Icons), bassist Tony Campos (Static X) and drummer Aaron Rossi (Prong), as well as special guest vocalist Burton C. Bell (Fear Factory).
Ministry plan to release a follow-up "rocumentary" titled Fuchi Requiem later this year. The DVD will feature behind-the-scenes footage and interviews from the farewell tour.
Ministry's final studio effort, a collection of covers titled Cover Up, was released by 13th Planet last April. The industrial rock band's version of The Rolling Stones' "Under My Thumb" was nominated for a 2009 Grammy Award for best metal performance. It was also the last song they would ever perform in Toronto.
Here are the tracks on Adios…Putas Madres:
"Let's Go"
"Watch Yourself"
"Life Is Good"
"The Dick Song"
"The Last Sucker"
"No W"
"Waiting"
"Worthless"
"Wrong"
"Rio Grande Blood"
"Senor Peligrio"
"Lieslieslies"
"Khyber Pass"
