Marion "Suge" Knight, the intimidating former owner of Death Row Records, was hospitalized with broken facial bones after a fight early Monday morning at a hotel party in Scottsdale, Ariz. during the NBA All-Star Game weekend.
Police were called to the W Scottsdale Hotel around 3:30 a.m. after reports that two groups were arguing in the VIP area. Officers claim they saw Knight get punched in the face twice by Robert Carnes, Jr., who later identified himself as Akon's business manager. Police used Tasers to break up the fight, and Carnes and Thomas Leon Anderson, Jr. were arrested on suspicion of assault and disorderly conduct. They're being held in jail.
Police haven't confirmed what started the fight, but Akon wasn't at the party to toss anyone around.
Drug and battery charges against Knight in connection with an incident with his girlfriend last August were dropped in December.
