Akron/Family Get Wild And Free

The three members of Akron/Family aren't related and aren't from the northeastern Ohio birthplace of Alcoholics Anonymous, but you can believe the rest of what you're about to read.

Multi-instrumentalists Dana Janssen, Seth Olinsky and Miles Seaton parted company with bandmate Ryan Vanderhoof and Young God Records for their fourth full album, Set 'Em Wild, Set 'Em Free.

Dead Oceans will release the experimental New York and Pennsylvania-based band's self-produced album on CD and vinyl on May 5.

The 11-track effort will be supported by a month-long tour with stops here:
