DMX Gets Solitary Confinement In Prison

DMX has been moved from Arizona's infamous Tent City prison to a solitary cell after he got into an argument with Maricopa County Sheriff's detention officers on Sunday.
The rapper (real name Earl Simmons) will have to spend 23 hours a day in the cell and will likely remain there for the next month. He'll be fed a "special diet that is a form of bread and water," according to TMZ.com.
DMX was serving his 90-day sentence on animal cruelty, drug and theft charges with more than 2,000 other inmates at Tent City when he refused to report to his assigned job — and not for the first time.
DMX also didn't show up at the designated time to receive medication from staff, but arrived an hour later and demanded it. The disgraced hip-hop star apparently started swearing profusely and threatened to "assault somebody to get some respect" after a supervisor tried to intervene, which resulted in him being sent to lockdown.
That should give him lots of time and peace and quiet to help him work on his sermons.
