Paris Hilton Propositions McCartney For Duet

Paris Hilton wants to work with Sir Paul McCartney, but the former Beatle (thankfully) isn't having any of it.

Hilton approached McCartney at a Grammy Awards after-party on Sunday to ask if the two could record a song together, according to Britain's The Sun tabloid.

"I'd love to do a duet with you," she apparently said. "I'm a singer, too, and I have an album out."

"Sir Paul was minding his own business when Paris traipsed right up to him and introduced herself," an "onlooker" told The Sun.

"He looked bemused, smiled and nodded — then stumbled out that he'd have to check his schedule.

"I don't think we'll be hearing a duet any time soon."

When Hilton realized she wasn't getting anywhere, she apparently made a failed appeal to McCartney's vanity by saying his hair was "just like in The Beatles. It's so cute."
