Doperty's House Is Haunted

Pete Doherty claims his mansion, from which it was recently rumoured he was going to be evicted, is haunted.
Doperty recently told Britain's Daily Star tabloid that the ghosts in his house keep him awake at night and he wants to move out to get away from them.
"My house is definitely haunted," he said. "All of a sudden, you hear a mad party going on in the west wing.
"It used to be the servants' quarters, which is creepy. When I hear it, I just hide.
"It's uncomfortable, but I think if I don't bother them, they won't bother me. Half the time I'm in my own world anyway."
One thing's for sure, and it's that Doperty and Amy Winehouse now have one more thing in common: Neither likes ghosts.
The Earl Of Cardigan, who owns the mansion where Doperty lives, recently said he wants to kick the singer out of the 250-year-old, million-pound (about $1.8 million Canadian) mansion, which costs Doperty 3,250 pounds a month to rent. Doperty doesn't empty his 13 cats' litter boxes and leaves garbage and beer cans strewn about the apartment, according to the Daily Star. Graffiti also apparently covers the walls and the floors are covered with white powder.
Are ghosts responsible for all the graffiti that the landlord alleges
is on the walls? Have they been throwing Doperty's things around and
leaving them in a completely deplorable state? Are they responsible for
that headless deer? Shame on you, ghosts.
The Earl had previously threatened to evict Doperty, but renewed his lease after the former Libertines member cleaned the house (or had someone do it for him). But when the Daily Star wrote a story about the messy house and MTV filmed Doperty climbing over a fence, which separates his part of the property from a private part of the estate, the landlord apparently decided he'd had enough of supermodel Kate Moss' ex living on his estate.
Doperty denies the eviction reports and his representative told NME.com that the reporters were "cobbers."
Doperty will release his Grace/Wastelands solo debut album on March 24.
