Stefani Hoodies Could Kill Children

Back in No Doubt's Tragic Kingdom days, singer Gwen Stefani said she designed all her own clothes, and some of them were pretty out to lunch.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission thinks the design for some of her children's hoodies are pretty whack, too, and says the hoodies could actually kill children.
The commission has recalled about 1,200 hoodies from Stefani's Harajuku Lovers clothing line because they "have a drawstring through the hood which can pose a strangulation hazard to children." It wants anyone who may have bought a hoodie to remove their drawstrings or return them to the manufacturer for a refund.
The hoodies were sold at Nordstrom's, Macy's and other American stores from August 2008 to January 2009 for about $75. That's one heck of an expensive children's sweatshirt.
No Doubt will tour this summer for the first time since 2004. Bedouin Soundclash will open some of the shows. No dates have been announced.
