Here Are Your MIMI Winners

The Montreal International Music Initiative (MIMI) has announced the five award winners who'll be recognized on Feb. 28 at Les Saints during the High Lights Montreal Festival.

Bluegrass and folk-influenced Lake Of Stew, melodic but moody rockers Parlovr, electro/post-punk clubbers Le Matos, hip-hop/electro/rock hybrid act Random Recipe and dream pop outfit Witchies are the up-and-comers chosen by a 10-person jury to receive the prizes and perform during the ceremony.

A party following the 9 p.m. award handouts will feature performances by Black Diamond Bay, For Those About To Love, Orange Orange, Hexes & Ohs, Final Flash, Jeune Chilly Chill and DJ Payz Play.

Tickets for the awards show and after-party are available at Admission outlets for $10.
