Borland Won't Rejoin Limp Bizkit

We already know Fred Durst desperately wants a Limp Bizkit reunion, but former guitarist Wes Borland couldn't care less about working with his old band.
Durst, drummer John Otto and bassist Sam Rivers said they were working on new material in the studio late last year. Durst, however, has since deleted his MySpace blog posts about the upcoming "album" — and Otto and Rivers' accounts no longer exist.
Limp Bizkit are confirmed to play this year's Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park festivals in Germany, according to Metalunderground.com. Neither date is listed on the band's MySpace page or official website, and the latest whisperings on the internet were that Borland had been offered a lot of money to reunite with his former bandmates. But he's not having any of it.
"I have no plans on working with Limp again," Borland told mlive.com. "It's better for me for sure. I'm having a great time doing [post-Bizkit industrial group Black Light Burns]."
Borland, who sings and plays guitar in Black Light Burns, told the website he enjoys working with his new band because he can be more creative and explore music and vocals, which he couldn't do in Limp Bizkit.
"I can write a song and know what it's about and tailor the music about the intensity of the vocals. It all makes sense together, instead of random lyrics on top of music that sounds cool. It makes more sense."
Borland left Limp Bizkit after 2000's Chocolate Starfish And The Hotdog Flavored Water. He rejoined the band in 2004, but left again two years later. Borland formed Black Light Burns in 2005, and the band released their Cruel Melody debut album in 2007. Borland, guitarist Nick Annis, bassist Dennis Sanders and drummer Marshall Kilpatric also released a covers compilation titled Cover Your Heart and a supplemental DVD called The Anvil Pants Odyssey last year.
