Vince Clarke has been touring with former bandmate Alison Moyet in the reformed Yaz and Andy Bell has been working on a solo album since Erasure released 2007's Light At The End Of The World. But fans who yearn for the flamboyant duo's glory days can look forward to a four-disc deluxe box set from Rhino on April 7.

Total Pop! — The First 40 Hits includes both singles and live tracks from the British electro-pop group.

The first disc is a remastered version of 1992's Pop! — The First 20 Hits, which includes such dancefloor favourites as "Oh L'Amour,""Chains of Love," "A Little Respect" and "Victim Of Love."

The second CD includes more recent singles, including "Always," "Breathe" and a cover of Peter Gabriel's "Solsbury Hill."

Disc three features 15 songs recorded live from 1987 to 2007, including a 1992 cover of Abba's "Voulez Vous" and a 2006 acoustic version of "Breathe." You can hear part of "Heart Of Stone" here.

The set is completed with a DVD of Erasure's 1986 to 2005 appearances on such BBC Television shows as Top Of The Pops and Later With Jools Holland, as well as a 2003 promotional video for "Oh L'Amour."

Fans who pre-order Total Pop! — The First 40 Hits here will instantly receive MP3 downloads of the Vox Mix of "Sugar Hill," an early recording of "Worlds On Fire" with alternative lyrics, an unreleased version of "Chains Of Love" and the original version of "Early Bird." They'll also get a set of three Pop! postcards shipped with the box set and entry into a draw to win Bell's white Elvis suit from The Erasure Show tour or one of five signed copies of the non-deluxe version of Total Pop! — The First 40 Hits, which just includes the first two CDs.
