Bonnaroo 2009 Lineup Announced

The Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival is known for its hippie vibe, so it's appropriate that Phish will play two reunion shows at this year's event.

Bonnaroo will take place from June 11 to 14 in Manchester, Tenn. Phish will headline two days, and Bruce Springsteen And The E Street Band and Beastie Boys will top the bill for the other two. Nine Inch Nails, David Byrne, Wilco, Crystal Castles, Animal Collective, TV On The Radio and The Decemberists are among the large list of bands also slated to perform, with more being announced at a later date.

Tickets go on sale on Saturday at noon EST. A limited number of general admission three-day passes are available for $224.50 U.S. (about $277 Canadian). Once they're sold out, three-day passes will be available for $234.50 U.S. That will go up to $249.50 U.S. later date. A pair of VIP tickets are also available for a cool $1,349.50 U.S. More information is available on the festival's website.

A limited number of commemorative 2009 Bonnaroo DVDs will also be offered to ticket buyers, who will have the option to order one for $9.95 U.S. with their tickets. The disc will include performance and backstage footage from this year's festival.
