Cuff The Duke's Fourth Album Coming

Cuff The Duke groupies should be very pleased to know the band have begun working on the follow-up to 2007's Sidelines Of The City.
After a few shows at Toronto's Horseshoe Tavern in August, Cuff The Duke played some gigs as Hayden's backing band and opened for Calexico in Montreal and Toronto in November.
"We then started work on our new record spending the last little while out our friend Greg's farm recording 14 new songs," the band wrote on their website on Sunday. "It was snowing almost everyday and we got really good at lighting fires.
"It was also the first time that we recorded everything onto tape! You can expect the record to be released by the summer."
Until any wider tour plans are announced, overzealous female (and male, should they be so inclined) fans will have the opportunity to get their groove on when Cuff The Duke play on March 14 with Jon-Rae Fletcher, Herman Dune, Basia Bulat and Elliott Brood at Toronto's Lee's Palace as part of Canadian Music Week. They're also slated to play the South By Southwest Music Festival in Austin, Texas the next week.
