Steven Adler Arrested Again

Steven Adler
Former Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Adler was arrested on Jan. 26 for failing to finish community service in a time frame set out earlier by a judge, according to TMZ.com.

Adler apparently went to register with authorities as a drug offender, as per a court order, and police arrested him on a warrant. His representatives claim he was charged with being under the influence of a controlled substance because that's what he was originally cited for when he was arrested last July, and not because he was under the influence last week. Adler was released on bail of $50,527 the same day as his arrest.

Adler had been ordered by Los Angeles Superior Court to perform community service and attend a rehabilitation clinic in Pasadena, Calif. in December. That was a bid to keep him out of prison following his July arrest for narcotics possession, being under the influence and having an outstanding warrant. He was on probation after he pleaded no contest to heroin possession at the time of this most recent arrest.

Adler was a patient on the VH1 reality television show Celebrity Rehab last year, and is part of its Sober House sequel this year. The program apparently showed Adler entering a group home, which was supposed to be free of drugs and alcohol, with a package of heroin and needles and walking around the residence in a daze.

Here's a clip from Sober House of Adler talking about his relapse:
