Kanye West Likes The Acorn

A few more people might turn out for The Acorn's European shows in a month now that Kanye West has given the Ottawa band his stamp of approval.
"THIS IS BEAUTIFUL!," West wrote in his typically understated fashion of The Acorn's "Crooked Legs" video on his blog on Thursday.

Acorn frontman Rolf Klausener thought enough of West's support that he extended this invitation to him in a comment on the rapper's blog entry:
"Come over for a barbeque next time you're in Ottawa. We can drink some cheap beer and play with the neighbourhood cats."
We're not sure if there's a big crossover between West and Acorn fans, but the endorsement can't hurt.
Then again, probably less than five per cent of the people who will attend The Acorn's European shows opening for Fleet Foxes and Elbow will be there to see the band named after a thing that squirrels store for the winter. Those who are dedicated enough to The Acorn would see them whether West recommended them or not.Here are The Acorn's dates:
