Cop Pees On Metallica Fan

Metallica

Remember last November when a drunken politician allegedly peed on fans at a Grateful Dead tribute band show? Well, now Metallica fans have something in common with Deadheads. A police officer allegedly relieved himself on a Metallica supporter at the band's recent Boston concert.

Joseph Houston, a patrolman with the Brewster Police in Brewster, Mass., was thrown out of the band's Jan. 18 show at Boston's TD Banknorth Garden for disorderly conduct, according to the Cape Cod Times newspaper. A Boston police incident report states that Houston allegedly exposed himself, verbally and physically harassed female members of the family sitting in front of him, and peed on one of the male family members.

"He pulled down his pants and urinated on the male victim," the report states. "Then, with his penis still out, he lunged towards the male victim's sister several times. She was visibly upset."

The report also alleges Houston was drunk, showed off his badge in an attempt to get back into the show and then called a black MBTA officer an "Obama." Houston was arrested after he ignored warnings and tried to re-enter the concert.

Houston has been charged with trespassing, for which he could be fined $100 U.S. and face up to 30 days in jail. He's due in court on Feb. 5.

Houston has reportedly been put on paid leave and an internal investigation was launched into his actions. Boston police are apparently seeking more charges against him.

Houston is expected to appear at a hearing to determine whether there's enough evidence to launch a trial against him for his alleged actions.

Thomas Drechsler, a Boston Police Patrolmens' Association lawyer who's representing Houston in the case, calls the charges "unsubstantiated hearsay."
