Mother Mother Are A Quintet Again

Mother Mother have added Jasmin Parkin as their new singer and keyboardist, and she'll be initiated quickly.

The Vancouver band will play a couple of shows in their home province in early February before they drive across the continent to begin a tour opening for the Sam Roberts Band, which kicks off in Maine on Feb. 17.

Parkin replaces singer Debra-Jean Creelman, who left Mother Mother in December.

"We are very happy to have her on board and look very forward to working with her, performing with her, recording with her, touring with her, sharing a van with her, spending lots and lots of time with her, all that awesome stuff," Mother Mother wrote on their newly relaunched website on Monday. "Be sure to come out and introduce yourself when we come to your town."
