Fucked Up Get With Fox News

Fucked Up vocalist Damian "Pink Eyes" Abraham has launched his own blog, which he jokingly says he hopes will "serve as an alternative" to Fucked Up's band blog.
"The world of Fucked Up has for too long been spoken for by one voice," he wrote in a Jan. 22 post. "This is the CNN to lookingforgold's Fox."
Abraham gave readers his take on the most recent events in Fucked Up land the next day. The band's recent show at Brooklyn, N.Y.'s Market Hotel was reviewed by none other than the New York Times and, amusingly, the newspaper somehow managed to do it without ever mentioning Fucked Up's name. (Good thing we've already mentioned it five times. We suppose that more than makes up for it.)
As for the band's appearance on Fox News, which seems even more implausible than the New York Times review, you can watch it below. It turns out Fucked Up's The Chemistry Of Common Life was Fox News' Greg Gutfeld's top album of 2008. Seriously.
"The lead singer barks like a crazed dog," Gutfeld said. "Every song sounds like [Sex Pistols'] 'Anarchy In The U.K.'"
He added that Fucked Up are his "favourite band right now." You can see him talk about it below on his show, Red Eye (it's towards the four-minute mark):
Abraham says he appeared on the show and will post a clip soon.
Fucked Up's next single, "No Epiphany," will be released on Matador Records "in about a month and a half," according to the band's blog. The B-side is a remix of a No Age song.

What's even more hilarious is that Abraham emailed Gutfeld to "express my shock and Greg, said host, emailed me back and invite me on."
