Katy Perry Likes Sex

Katy Perry told a journalist that she'd be celibate in 2009 because of her break-up with Gym Class Heroes frontman Travis McCoy late last year. But the writer apparently took the comment out of context, or at least has no sense of humour, because Perry now says it was just a joke.

"I am not going to be celibate," she told People magazine. "That was a joke, and any fine journalist would have got that.

"Please, celibacy for the whole year? I'd rather die."

That's quite a change from what she recently told TV Guide, unless she prefers her sex without any facial lip-to-lip contact.

"I've actually taken a vow of celibacy this year," she said. "No kissing anyone. Just my cat: Kitty Purry."

So Perry's now free to kiss all the boys, girls and felines she wants. Is her cat going to get jealous if she gets outside action?
