Fall Out Boy

Fall Out Boy fans should watch this Sunday's episode of The Simpsons to hear the band perform the show's theme song.

The Wilmette, Ill. quartet's rendition of the theme for television's longest-running sitcom will air during the end credits. The original theme, composed by Danny Elfman (Spider-Man, Milk), will air during the opening credits as usual.

The episode will also include a guest voice from actress and former Michael Buble live-in love Emily Blunt (The Devil Wears Prada, Charlie Wilson's War) for Lisa Simpson's new friend, Juliet.

Singer/guitarist Patrick Stump, bassist Pete Wentz, guitarist Joe Trohman and drummer Andy Hurley named Fall Out Boy after Simpsons character Radioactive Man's trusty sidekick.

Fall Out Boy will launch a world tour in support of last year's Folie A Deux in February. Cobra Starship, Metro Station and All Time Low will be rotating the opening slots each night on the North American leg. You can see them here:
