Lily Allen was so drunk once that she bought a beach.
Allen recently told BBC 6music's George Lamb about the purchase.
"It's in Jamaica. I'm not gonna tell you the road," she said. "I'm happy I bought the beach, best drunken buy ever."
Wait a minute. Wasn't Allen recently complaining that her Alright, Still debut idn't make her enough money? Well, 50,000 pounds (about $87,000 Canadian) must be enough to buy a beach.
We wrote on Wednesday that Allen should reconsider calling Katy Perry the "American version of me" since she pulled a Perry when she accidentally used her cellphone to send Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson a topless picture of herself. Maybe she should take it easy on the booze.
Allen also recently admitted to kissing female identical twins in San Diego.
"That's the only time, but I do have wet dreams — lesbian dreams — quite a lot," she told The Gay Times magazine.
Allen recently killed her feud with Perry, but we can't help but wonder if this is some kind of weird attempt on her part to upstage the "I Kissed A Girl" singer. Not only did she kiss two girls, but they were twins. If the feud is reignited, the end to that cat fight we envisioned might not be that ridiculous after all.
British actor and singer Keith Allen recently told Spin magazine that his daughter should think before she opens her mouth.
"I don't mind to say this, because I've told her already: she needs to know when to fucking shut up.
"As a man, I could drink, snort [drugs] and fuck to my heart's content without any detriment to my career. A girl cannot do that.
"The tabloids are shameless in trying to create a race to rehab between any girl out there who has a drink.
"Lily's learning what Daddy learned long ago: fame is a pain in the fucking arse."
Allen's sophomore album, It's Not Me, It's You, comes out on Feb. 10.
